Nice. I have wondered if coating all that timber in tar would extend the life of it ?

You should use timber loc screws saves labor and makes replacing decking much easier

KM7462 we have tried lock screws but the movement of the timbers from heavy loads will strip out the scrwes nails will give woth movement and stay secure

Beautiful bridge but the Biggest question is: How much, labor and materials ? Also, Will you treat the wood with old diesel engine oil ? Thanks.

august total materials around $10,000 labor 5 man crew 3 days,we dont treat timbers with anything good idea though
