Timber Mountain Log Ride: Halloween Hootenanny at Knott's Scary Farm in Buena Park, California, USA.
Every year the citizens of the Timber Mountain invite the mysterious creatures that live out in the woods and caverns of the area to join them as they celebrate the season at the Halloween Hootenanny. The ride’s interior features surprises as guests venture past the Calico Coffin Creeper Band, the town’s Green Witch and splash down Skull Mountain through a labyrinth of jack-o-lanterns. The seasonal ride will also feature an original song performed by Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies. In the evening, the Timber Mountain comes to life with additional scares.
Since its opening in 1969, the Log Ride has always been one of the most elaborate log flume rides in the US, taking guests through an 85-foot-high by 330-foot-long mountain range themed to a nineteenth-century lumber camp.

As someone that frequented the Halloween Haunt as a kid in the 80s, it's tragic what this event has turned into. This ride is the best example. It used to be the best activity of the night, jump scares and gore galore. That and the mine ride were often scarier than the mazes.

There’s no Scare-actors this year because of the incident that I experienced last year. An actor fell into the water right before the final lift to the drop. Boats slammed and piled on with Her leg jammed in between the log and the track. Got a nice peak of the behind the scenes. But yeah no actors probably got sued

Sometimes yeah but if you get to go during the day on a weekday you should go cause in the night it get *PACKED* but it's really worth the experience if you get to go the whole day until closing.

Ilkvomit They were hesitant to bring them back because the ride had just been redone with new animatronics and they didn’t want actors damaging anything. The year they bring the actors back, one of them falls in and gets seriously injured (could have even died). I think it’s safe to say they won’t be back.
