Great idea to use the tubing as horizontal racking. I’m definetly going to copy this idea at my place cheers mate... might even make the vertical posts that sit against the house a little bit higher and then add a top plastic corrugated sheet on the deter rain water from reaching the stored timber timber

Smart to use the story stick, and great Jig. I've got bad news for you DUWW... Now that you have cleaned up the wood storage, and created more space..... more room for more wood ;D. I have a lot of trouble throwing out scrap or turning down friends who like to 'Donate' wood. Sheesh what a tip I have

You have no idea how you have helped me. I kept drawing out different designs but felt I would be using too much of the wood that I have salvaged for other projects. I plan on asking my neighbor if he'd like to get rid of the mangled trampoline frame he has thrown in the backyard.

Hay mate, love your work ! ps. what kind of circular saw would you recommend i get from Bunnings to build a home-made saw table around ? I'm wanting to make a mitre jig to make picture frames for my paintings, so want a smooth cut.
@DownUnderWoodWorks
@DownUnderWoodWorks 5 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate. The smoothness of the cut depends on the blade and not the saw. Always opt for a good quality blade. IMO I would buy the biggest saw your budget allows, not a huge difference in quality between the saws in bunnings.
