Timber Wolf bandsaw blade review on WEN 10” bandsaw

I’m doing a review on the Timber Wolf bandsaw blade on my 10” WEN bandsaw.

I JUST installed this blade on my Wen 10" yesterday, (and KZbin decided I needed to see this today). But same result here... cuts straighter, smoother, and faster than the stock blade.

I have the same band saw with original blade and it stuck many times just when cutting 2x4. I guess i need to try a new blade.

Carlos did the Timberwolf cut straight with the blade?

10 times better. Of course always going slow, making sure the guard is on the right height and be aware of what kind of wood and grain direction are also factors.

Hey, great upgrade cut like butter. how do you like that wen bandsaw? Been looking to get a bandsaw if I ever have money for one lol.

Great bandsaw for the price! Definitely changing the blade make all the difference in the world. Yeah one day I might get a bigger one if I get some money lol

I use the same saw. It’s WAAAAYYY better than a used craftsman 9” I bought first. I have a few Olson blades 1/2” 4TPI very similar to the one in the video but about half or 2/3 the price. I like them a lot especially for resaw and straight line cuts.

I got the same 10" Wen bandsaw. I don't get a clean cut when I resize, very rugged, with noticeable grooves all along the cut surface. Changed the original blade for a 3/8" one, recalibrated guides position, blade tension, etc, same result: an ugly cut. Not sure what I'm doing wrong...

Make sure the guide bearings on the top are down to just over the thickness of the wood. 3/4 inch lumber does not need the guide bears way up.

I really like it specially with the different blade. Wish it was bigger but it does the job for the size
