You can't really go by the colour. I went to the ACTUAL Timberlands store and they told me there is variation between boots. I had two pairs of the same boot and the suede looked different compared to one another.

Another thing you should check for is under the insert, there‘s two rivets stamped into the footbed of real timbs. Those hold a steel shank for arch support, I think fakes do not have those aswell.

i bought mine from amazon for 95 dollars and compared them to the ones in store and they were the EXACT SAME. Also the exact as the real ones in the video...perfect stitching, charcoal leather, heavy..i just wanna know for sure if they real cuz i got them for only 90!!😂

Alot of these videos are crap. Some of things they point out are not accurate unless footlocker and other reputable stores are selling fakes, which i doubt. If your having doubts maybe take them to the timberlands store to compare exact models.

I bought a dusty pink pair off amazon about 5 years ago. They were my first pair so I didn't really notice anything but since then I've bought multiple timbs from their website, journeys, dsw, and I think nordstrom. Anyway the ones off amazon look and feel exactly like my other ones. They're heavy, same logo, same insole, stitching is nice, but the inside is a bright ass orange. Unfortunately the dusty pink has been out of season for years now and I can't cross reference. But I still wonder if I got duped lol...

Yes you got duped love the inside should not be bright orange. You can also check the style number and print on the side, but take that bright orange inside as a bright orange red flag they are not legit lol.

Buyer Beware that after 12 months you own REAL Timberlands, warranty becomes null & void. Defective Materials showed up on my pair after minimum use 13 months after purchase. Timberland Customer Service advised me even though they were brand new and barely worn boots, tough shit, no replacement.

Just old models use burned ends, mine is original, I own two, one brown and the other navy blue, no burning, you can tell by the quality and weight of the boots if they original. Easy peasy.

My girlfriend bought me the $90.00 ones on Ebay and I knew immediately they were fake cause of how light they are. They failed all these tests also. Stiching is all over the place. Orange plastic in soles. Plastic on the tip of the laces.

Great Video ! Now can you compare the Carolina Journeyman boots that look exactly like the timberland boots except that their made in America by Union workers and their also insulated with 200 grams of thinsulate . They sell for about $60.00 or $150.00 depending on the sole you choose .

After looking at their website, I don't think the boots you are talking about are made in America. Carolina shoe has a section of its site dedicated to American made shoes (much the same as Timberland... albeit Carolina has a much larger selection) but it doesn't look like the Journeyman are part of that.

When it comes buying Timberlands I always shop in the well known popular retailer here in the UK.... Office. It's where me and my finance got each others boots for Christmas. Would never buy from Ebay. Just stick to well known designer shops or the official Timberland website.

Not all Timbs are the same. Timbs made in Bangladesh have orange inner soles and the leather is a little darker than those made from Dominican Republic and China. Those who have multiple pairs of Timbs knows that materials varies from where the Timbs were made

The fake Tim's are not that comfortable. The insole offer no support at all. I never did try adding a different insole. But for $90 plus the cost of insole I'd give it a shot.

maybe you found a lousy pair of fakes. here's the logic ... if the counterfeiter makes these boots en-masse, you'd think they can reverse engineer - at the very minimum and certainly the easiest part of the counterfeit - the stamp. so the first observation of your fake pair is its a lousy fake. now if you find an almost identical fake, then this would make for a more interesting video.

Not everything on ebay is a knock off but there is still a lot of counterfeit things up for sale there. So I always keep that in mind and before I buy anything I always check what the seller is, his/her feedback, and the item itself when it comes in mail.
