TimberPro TL745D Cutting in Beautiful Snowy New Hampshire

Here is a video of Joey Hardwick from DH Hardwick & Sons cutting in his TL745D prototype machine. Joey has had this machine since summer 2017 while continually providing feedback and helping with the D-series development. This particular machine is running the standard 338hp Cummins Stage V engine that is standard on all our D-series machines from the 725-755 and 830-840. This machine does have the optional performance package and is running a Quadco 22c hot saw.

I can't make any sense of which direction the landing is. There is a much better methodical way of cutting. No repicking or 180 swings. Go to the back of the unit, cut it Like a field of wheat in strips all the way to landing. It can also be bunched so the skidder can go "long" so the unit is skidded evenly..Not choking the landing the first and starving it the next because of longer skids.. Ends square, stems parallel. skdder clamps and goes, no spillage, turn rolls up tight in the grapples...Yes I have cut a lot. I even sorted so processor didn't have to screw with anything too big or wooly, (limby) that would stall him that was saw work. Your welcome! ha ha! I'm just another know it all! 😀

Can't get big bunches doing strip falling, block falling is better for neat n tidy, if u drone look at a block when where done cutting, seriously looks like a checker board, no bunches laying on another bunch, could drive a skiddr all the way to the boundary if ya wanted to

No doubt,I run tcat 880 loader, just got off 870 buncher, ran em all and tcat is very hard to beat
