The flags flown by the Timbers Army show a different sort of patriotism from American, that of course being independence of Cascadia from the USA. There were Cascadian flags in every shot of the crowd and only two shots with American flags. 0:36 is the best. That right there is patriotism. Kwanesum chinook illahee!/Long live Cascadia!

@limericklad2000 No, it is a particularly hard song and I'm not a Timbers fan. Its well known that the US national anthem is a notoriously difficult song. It jumps around a lot and changes octaves. Yes, a lot of people try to sing it the wrong way, but its still a difficult song to sing, especially for an amateur singer.

I would love to see any top3 "boarder jumpin" mexican teams go up against the top 3 of our best MLS teams and u tell me who's gonna crack!!! We may not have giant stadiums that can hold 150,000+ or we don't have a worldwide reputation as a soccer/football superpower. But at least every 4 years we can compete with the best in the world to compete (win or lose) for the World Cup. Something that I hope Mexico will... NEVER WIN!!! As an American... I know what good competition is all about!!!
