Ooo been absolutely obsessed with atmospheric jungle and making the pads from scratch in logic. So many of the great people in the community like Thought Forms/Groovin in G and Architecture to name just a few champs are putting in sick work on KZbin to preserve and expand these oldschool vibes. 🎉 check them out people!

If I can give you a single tip (well, maybe two) it’s that minor ninth chords are your best friend and syncopated notes in the higher octaves are neat Edit: I wrote this before getting to the part where he adds a minor ninth 😅

16:26 ...and I always wondered why JV-1080 "Pure Tibet" sounds so blurred on my computer! So this is simply a bug on the FX bus and nothing wrong with my hard and software. Thank you so much, Tim, for clarifying this. What a shame, "Pure Tibet" has always been one of my big favourites.

Hello, great video, love your channel. I was wondering where I could find that plugin "Chroma" colormap that you're using (around marker 8:31). Looks incredibly useful and I have some stuff I made a long time ago that I'm trying to recreate from an audio file. Thanks!
