Not to mention the usual Left wing lie.. that "Trump's tax cut disproportionately benefitted the rich". His tax cuts were pretty comparable across every tax bracket. So someone making $1mill per year will fckn OBVIOUSLY take-home more money (with a 5% cut), vs someone making $50k per year. But that 5% will have a much greater impact on those with a lower income.
@fr.jeremiahcaughran61914 күн бұрын
This whole ‘Trump’s tax cut was for rich people’ makes me so mad! He literally doubled the general tax exemption for everyone. I went from $11600 exemption for married couples to $23200 the first year. That massively reduced taxable income for everyone. These people are idiots who think Trump’s tax cuts were only for the rich. Reduction of taxable income is a massive tax cut for poor people. That changes every low income tax bracket completely.

This episode is a perfect example of what a amateur vs a professional looks like. That kid was way in over his head, Tim eats, sleeps, and drinks the news along with the information on it everyday all day long. This kid wakes up, eats his fruity pebbles with his main stream media and thinks he's informed to debate on one of the biggest political news channels. Hopefully this kid takes this as a learning experience and better informs himself. He might turn into a conservative if he does. Tim needs a civics test for guests on his show.

Tim found out in real time why Enrique Tarrio went to jail for 20 years. Tim didn't know any of that. And then he just pivoted away from it. Beasley didn't even have to say much. Tim did it to himself, that's how ignorant and stupid he is.

The problem in the first place is that people think these shows are news and not entertainment outlets. They are just serious snl skits and that is why they can get away with what they do, they have first amendment rights. Finding actual journalists is difficult.

@Nylon_riot True but I think if they are not news shows, they should not be able to portray themselves as news shows or networks in the case of MSNBC and CNN.

@@RyanKyle-f5s That is absurd. We are guaranteed free speech in this country. Agreement or disagreement. Trolling or advocacy. Love or hate. I get it. Trust me. You are absolutely disgusted by Nick's rhetoric. So am I. His opinions are abhorrent. ....But guess what? Conversly, He could make the exact same argument. He finds our rhetoric disgusting. Maybe he thinks our opinions could cause harm to others. So, should Nick be allowed to silence us? Because he could define our words as dangerous trolling? The second we decide that Nick's speech is unacceptable... Who's going to stop the next guy from defining our speech as unacceptable? The street has to go both ways. If we don't tolerate others, others will not tolerate us.

Listening to this kid that literally is oblivious to everything he argues was mind numbingly painful. The kid is so brainwashed he can’t think. It amazes me and makes it overwhelming obvious that our country has failed this generation when it comes to being able to think rationally and critically.
@notsure11354 күн бұрын
It’s multigenerational. I remember reading the opening to Prometheus Rising by Robert Anton Wilson 23;years ago who was pointing out that Gen X were the most ignorant generation who had no grasp of history. I’m Gen X, I think with the magnitude of media and entertainment may well have overwhelmed many of us to the progression of history and its impact on how the system we live in came to be. I think the way we were educated on subjects like math was overly complicated and abstract in comparison to how say the boomers were taught to do things. It only got worse, teachers aren’t for the most part better than this kid.
