I remember this song during my 4th year high school at the College of the Holy Spirit Tarlac City. Hello to my batchmates CHS batch 84. We often sing this during our spanish subject. Kudos to our teacher. Untill i got married i still sing this to my daughters as a lullaby to get them into sleep, very classic.

I have to disagree, ang layo ng version ni Kitbielle dito. Mas solemn yung version niya. Panoorin mo yung version ng batch 2008, napakasolemn. Dito naman sa version ng batch na ito, masyado matigas ang tunog and yung solo. Again, opinion ko lang naman. Madz is madz! Ang akin lang, Kitbielle's solo is incomparable, kaya nga hanggang ngayon sinusupportahan pa din siya. Check mo sa KZbin, andaming positive reactions ng performance niya sa Eres Tu.

not really. lots of words that we used are Spanish and we have one entire city (Zamboanga) which can speak a Spanish creole.

This was written by the composer/writer to be sang solemnly at this tempo to bring out the beauty of the composition with the different voices blending, from the vibrato (loudness emphasis) to the subtle whisper passages to give it its solemnity ... angel like choir singing to our Heavenly Father, God The Son Jesus Christ, God The Holy Spirit and Blessed Mother Mary !!! I could really feel Heaven with this Song !!! It brought tears to my eyes and I am listening to this song by the Madrigal Singers over and over again... never got tired listening to it !!!
