Key learning:- 1. Type one- men1day1 =men2day ( this equation is equal only if total work is same ) • men’s and days are inversely proportional to each other 2. Key learnings: 1. 6 types in chain rule - Men and boys (m1d1= m2d2) - men, days and hours (m1d1h1=m2d2h2) - men, hourse, days and work (m1d1h1/w1= m2d2h2/w2) - men, boys, women(conversion required into single unit as efficiency varies) - leaving and joining 2. summary 1. Chain rule- 6 types of concepts First type- MD 2. The reverse relation between days and men i.e men increases, days decreases and vice versa 3. There is a difference between men and boys , we have to make the conversion if it is given in the question. 4. The rate at which the men increases and the rate at which the days decreases will be the same or we can they will be equal 5. Days ratio will be inverse to man ratio. Second Type- MDH Third Type- MDH/W , Where W is work 6. concept of input and output , output is always directly proportional to input fourth type-MWB/MW equate men and women to take out the ratio or relation between them and then convert men into women or vice versa Fifth type- when workers join or leave the work
