first question Work done by A in 5days = 1/40*5=1/8 remaining 7/8 work will be done by B in 21days. Work done by B in 1 day = 7/8*1/21 =1/24 work (A+B) =1/40+1/24 =1/15 completed in 15days

Sir we have done contractor based questions with the help of ratio in earlier videos but in Question no. 18 you did it by converting men and women , i tried both method but ans. didn't came with ratio method .
