Well done! Haven’t had this much fun since Andre Norton and Ursula L.

Only 8 Minutes into this story and the 1st advertisements have been on for 60 seconds !

@@tinasmith9820 now when i start it it gives me an advertisement. I have not gotten one after. If a book does that i will stop listening to it. Imagine reading to someone and in the middle start trying to get them to buy their old bike or invest in their new foodtruck....that would be nuts. At the beginning fine. But after that...nope.

Very well narrated book. Appreciate each character having their own voice. Especially Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. having his own distinctive MLK voice.

Have you all heard of Connie Willis? Doomsday Book (time travel back to the Bubonic Plague), To Say Nothing of the Dog (back to Victorian times to make sure WW2 is won by the Allies) She does quite a bit about WW2. She's won more Hugo and Nebula awards than anyone else.

@@jumpmasterpress Just to let you know, it appears as if there's a couple of typos in this video's description of the book. For instance the word _prospect_ is written as "prostpect," and the name _Reginald_ is missing the D at the end of the name (though I'm unsure if "Reginal" is indeed the given name of the character, with correct spelling since I've never seen the name written that way). Thanks for the upload and for doing what you do.

What about the author??
@cjw7924 Жыл бұрын
the writer clearly does not understand the metric system of measurement. If the arms range was half a kilometre, how could the ranging marks be located as close as 10metres up 1000metres? A kilometre is 1000metres twice the length of the enclosure!!! the constant switching between measurement systems is very off-putting there is not continuity. also a 30 metre (98') ceiling is a bit excessive don't you think?
@kyllerbuzcut Жыл бұрын
It's because time was changed- because of all the time skips, meaning those measurement systems were changed offset way through, then changed again ;)

I appreciate a human narrator. I can't listen to the AI ones. they take me out of the story with the mispronounced words (even different takes on the same exact word!) and awful inflections.

Why all the race baiting in this book
@jumpmasterpress Жыл бұрын
Hi Delmar. There is no race baiting in the book. If you are referring to the chapter on JFK, the language used is symbolic of the time and is used for realism. We do hope you enjoyed the story...
