@@sjv6598 100% the bumpy starts at the beginning I thought might be down to traction control levels or just simply grip and power as he's blipping throttle, later he's just holding throttle and launching it smooth. Wicked build congrats. Here because of Northampton Motorsport posted on insta just had to check it out lol

That's more like it, solid in the 9's...without 1000hp LOL, bit clutch work and that would go 9.40 IMO, great double duty car, nice.

Hopefully he comes back to the Pod again next season, would be good to see what he does when he has the launches dialled in.

Nice to see and learn how to stop bogging. Slip the clutch a bit? Fast car at any event i would think.

The runs at the end of the day he seemed to get the hang of launching it, definitely a fast all rounder!

Part of the issue is the launch control not ever having been set up for the taller tyres and a prepped track. A combination of a change of launch settings, diagnosing a crank sensor issue (some bogs were triggered by this), and experience (letting the boost build, preloading and feeding the clutch etc) all came together to make the difference through the day.

Not used to having quite this much grip I guess. It's not easy dragging a car that's not built for it.

The guy needs some practice and figuring out what the optimal way to launch that car is , or he'll go through many a diff / gearbox / driveshafts, something WILL definitely break with those launches

Haha Santa Pod have a large wind powered generator up front....Is this to accommodate all the neat fuels that are burnt on the strip.............LOL...............Or is this to support the next generation of Electric powered cars!
