So many good memories playing this game :) I remember as a kid when I had to visit an hospital that was specialized treating people with a certain medical condition that was very far away from my home, me and my parents always stopped at this gas-station to eat something, and they had an arcade cabinet of this game. I'd always play this game before we continued our travel. When PS2-version was released, I of course got it. :)

It's just criminal that this game was never ported to the Wii. The Resident Evil "Chronicles" games showed that it was capable of having rail shooters without needing obsolete TV technology.

The original arcade hardware which TC3 ran on was based off of a beefed up PS2 (Namco System 256, I believe?). The same applies for TC4 with the PS3 (that was System 357).

@@Phantom.Gaming64 yep. Ironically the only threatening boss in TC4 is Marcus Black A.K.A first boss as he can zoom around with the grappling hook and his anti-tank rifle shots never misses when aimed at the player

Thank you for sharing codes for 60fps and no flash in the comments, I never found anything like this anywhere else. Are you playing netplay or are you using the same emulator on an ultrawide screen (maybe stretching the picture in post production)? I just got this game working over netplay but I was wondering if there's a better version of PCSX2 netplay floating around for it. Mine is pretty old.

I did mess with the screen for the FMV cutscenes, but the aspect ratio seen during gameplay is actually how I played it, although I don't have an ultrawide monitor. I checked that the netplay version you used was the SRKade one, and I don't know of anything newer. While I had tried SRKade once, this video is actually just local play on one PC, not online.

@@arronmunroe Sadly I found out netplay doesn't work while using guncon2 nuvee usb, it only works when using nuvee pad. This makes it so the only version able to do netplay is the PAL version, and 25fps splitscreen is rough. Never found a code for 50fps for the european version sadly. Thank you for your reply!

The CRC of your version also is 7290669C ? When i boot the game it recognizes the cheat but the flash is still there.

I had forgotten, but I never actually made a no flash code for Time Crisis 3, and that address was something I was mistaken about. The reason I didn't make a no flash code is because the code that I used to make the cursors appear also made it not flash like when you're using a controller. If you have Time Crisis 2, you can test this no flash code which should work, but as for Time Crisis 3, I may be able to get a code, but I'll need to check a few things first. patch=1,EE,00214A44,extended,00000000

This actually is mentioned in the description. It was a problem because of the extra high cpu requirements to play this game at 60fps with 2 players. I actually had learned of a method I could use to get a full speed recording even when the game slows down, but I didn't know about that when I made this video.

I used Ryzen 5800X for this. The thing is, PS2 emulation isn't great, and I also made the requirements higher by playing the game at 60fps, when it normally runs at 30fps in 2 player.

Are you using real hardware or emulation? While this game does have iLink support for two consoles, it is also possible to use two lightguns on one system.

TC4 & TC5 really lacks the teamwork vibes. We rarely see each other characters when in ACTION/WAIT, even the animation for both POV is not really that snchronized, especially TC5. Damn TC2 is really the best at this, TC3 is also not bad tho.

What I think you're referring to is connecting 2 PS2s with the iLink cable, but I don't think that is currently possible with emulation. This is just the regular 2 player mode on an emulator.

For the full experience, I also wired two PS1 non-dualshock pads with headphone jacks connected to test points for one of the face buttons, then connect those to these Yamaha sustain pedals previously used with Rock Band guitars. Plugged into the free controller port on each console, each player has their own arcade style foot pedal." Sounds fun but expensive.
