Time Crisis 3 playthrough (PS2) (1CC)

Playthrough of story mode with Alan. TC3 plays a lot like the second game, but with the addition of new weapons. The handgun has infinite ammo, but you can also use a machinegun, shotgun and grenade which you have to find more ammo for (shoot the guys in white & yellow).
It's also a harder game than TCII, as several enemy types have energy bars to deplete before they'll die. I think this run went really well, although I can't believe I took a hit where I did. I've never, ever been hit there before but I guess it only happens when you're recording.

Probably the hardest TC game ever made. I've only played the series in arcades and this one by far is the best, but most challenging in my experience. What I think also makes this one harder than the others is the gun(s) on the game machine (in a local arcade that has this TC game), are "heavy duty" and definitely bigger than the ones like on a TC 2 machine.

I miss playing this on the arcade in my teens. So damn fun. Reflexes and memorization of the level is the key. I couldn't get past the second level because of course it wasn't on Free Play and the coins it needed were not regular quarters (plus it's hard not to get hit when the big red bullets appear).

It's the Japanese version. I got this and the Japanese version of TCII because they run at 60 frames per second, the PAL versions only run at 50 frames per second, as they don't have a 60hz option. Unfortunately I can't record these lightgun games at 60 frames per second due to lightguns not working with HD TVs. I could try and record them by playing it with a controller, but I'm not good enough to beat games with a pad...

The box says "NTSC J" on it on the front, but I just checked the back, and there is a little box at the bottom that states "Chinese - English on it" next to a picture of the game disc and manual! I'd never noticed this before...so...I'm afraid I don't know!
