while defining the time specification u said of its initial value but in books it was written of its final value. from here students are aware that the definition should be followed through book . e.g rise time is the time required for the response to rise from 10% to 90% of its FINAL VALUE (not intial value) .......any way nice explained .. thank u

Slight correction at 5:35 regarding 'Peak Overshoot'. It has nothing to do with time. It's just the difference between the highest peak achieved (magnitude) and the final resting peak (magnitude) in terms of final resting peak (magnitude).

mam settling time is the time taken from starting or max value ? to steady to state value

It is the time taken to reach and stay in 2% of the final steady-state value

I don't think the diagram is the most appropriate one you can have. The magnitude should be decreasing rather than remaining constant throughout.

Hi teacher Can you belp me to solve his problem Q) let open loop T.F of unity F.B system is given by O.L T.F=k(Ta$+1)/$(Tb$+1) then a) Determine the value of K, Ta and Tb sash that maximum over shoot is 25% at (2 sec) and Tb=2Ta. b) If i/p = 2 sin(2t) is used to test the O.L T.F then Determine y(t) for this equation. c) What is the order type of the C.L T.F.
