I’ve found that you can’t save a Job/Easy job unless you turn the Bluetooth pedal off, save the job then turn pedal back on again. Works fine if you don’t use a pedal. Was told by Fronius it would be fixed with firmware update. That was nearly 12 months ago.

Fronius has the best machines i have ever used. The quality of the weld is incredible! I have the 230i and the 2700. Still learning how to operate them. But good video! Love the builds too!

The average user should not change the Magicwave 230i AC/DC to the equivalent single phase iWave model. They are absolutely identical and run on the same software version. Update the firmware, and you can install a new license package for Сycltig. Need to dream and strive in the desire to purchase older versions on a three-phase power supply. That's where the real magic happens! In one power source there is semi-automatic welding, and intelligent cold wire feed for TIG welding!

Just to confirm. The Magicwave 230i ac/dc is identical to the new iwave (both have same order number). Confirmed by Fronius.

Nice. I don’t have a Fronious. What I like about this new model is the Bluetooth and WiFi activated helmet and foot switch.

dont have the helmet but got the wireless pedal. its great. pretty sure its bluetooth but i could be wrong

I hate the push start button. Is there any way to toggle the on off without having to hold it???? My work has one of these and it's a pain when welding pipe.

man, just got my new project truck delivered yesterday. I really need a Tig. But i went over budget on the truck lol. So do you guys think a Yeswelder would do good enough for no more than i would be using it? I know that Fronius is a great machine but not for a part timer like me. 5K scares me.

Post flow is also for the tungsten. In this video I had the post flow set to auto on the machine. I am guessing it calculates the time based on the heat of the tungsten
