Excellent idea. Hate moldy or frozen buns that are empty because there is nothing to fill them with unless you purchase three packages of wieners, then too many wieners…..so you should start a campaign 😂

Man, hearing the Blockbuster reference reminded me of the time I worked at one. It was one of my very first jobs as a very young teen, and it was _such_ the place to be on a Friday and Saturday night. People used to stalk the return box hoping that a hot new release that was empty on the shelf would be returned. They would wander around, stopping by the desk to ask if any copies had come in. The disappointment when they left with a different film than what they truly wanted. My, how times have changed. Sure, the instant gratification of streaming media is great, but there was something special about making a trip to the video store. Just like it was in going to the mall. Man, I've just dated myself. lol

Yes, especially if you do deep beds, the topsoil can fill the bottom and more mulch and potting soil on top. Likewise the cardboard can go in the bottom of the beds. It will break down over time.

Sure wish I had that top soil! Mine is horrible soil! You know they are just hauling it away and selling your soil! I would have kept it for more raised beds and good fill. How I wish I had all those boxes!

I love your channel and loving following the process of your new home. You saying you cleaned car parts in the kitchen reminded me of the time my father built an entire boat in the kitchen (it was his small diving boat). Our kitchen was not big so he had to take it apart to get it out, it was not his finest moment and my mother was not pleased. 🤦‍♀️

I have well water. I have 2 of those filters. We use a string filter cartridge for sediment before the water softener and a carbon filter cartridge after for odor and taste. I have the best water ever. And the water that goes through the refrigerator gets filtered a 3rd time. So If the sediment filter alone doesn't give you the quality you want consider a two filter system.

I don't remember, are you doing the entire driveway gravel and no concrete? I cannot wait until it is all finished and we get to see the drive, sidewalk and the new steps into the house and of course the inside when all of your hard work moving in is done. Your garage with the new cabinets look nice it will be wonderful when you can fill those new nice red cabinets with all the stuff from the floor and be able to see a clean garage floor. G'day, should of kept the boxes Alex, make a compost area somewhere on the edge of you little forest, and used the boxes for it. you have so much space for composting, all your food and garden ect :) :)
