Time for Marimba by Miki was the first marimba solo that I heard performed. It has always been a favorite of mine. Thank you Ji Hye for a spectacular performance!! Bravo!!

Astounding clarity, both in execution and in sound/mallets/instrument/ and audio capture! And at the same time, not too stiff or too literal, still very organic, expressive, and very personal. Thank you Ji Hye Jung for your constant good example for all of us to learn from! Hugs from Mexico!

Despite this statement being on the nose, this is a timeless part of the repertoire. Filled with memorable statements and plenty of dynamic expression. And even some groove

You sound like Robert Van Sice in how you play this...

Considering she studied with van sice it does seem influenced.

The piece isn't actually called "Time for Marimba". It's called "Time", in the original score, and then it says "pour marimba" in small font further down the page. I wish the publisher would correct this mistake in the current edition. "Time For Marimba" sounds like something you say to a class of kindergarten children.
