Just an FYI we in poland get that Grodzisk Mazowiecki is hard to prnounce which is why we don’t bother and just say the name of the facility which is Kozerki. It’s probably the best facility of tennis in poland that has been expanding perpetually every since 2019. And literally all our tournaments in here are called Kozerki open or something similar.

It will take more than luck, something is missing in his game if he is getting bagel-ed in ITF qualifiers, by sub 1000 players. He should concentrate on doubles, or change his approach to singles. Maybe join Karue Sell's training, his read on the game is clearly top 200. Obviously I know how hard it is to even make 1 ATP point, I am commenting on his goal to be a professional.

He can maybe climb to top 1000 or maybe top 500, but top 100 seems unrealistic and top 10 is definitely not happening if we are being realistic. He is a great player of course but tennis is a cruel sport and very hard to achieve success.

Faucon went on to defeat Simkiss (very underrated former top 800), took down Steven Diez in straight sets (current top 500, former #130), took Harry Wendelken to a tie break (top 500, very strong indoor player, made final and semifinal the previous 2 weeks). So not that bad of a result against an inform opponent, but Felix can definitely do better

Felix, given the last two years and the lack of success in singles with only 1 ATP point twice, will you move to focus exclusively on doubles? Have you set any timelines for when you'd call it a day? I personally believe tennis is the hardest sport to go pro given the cost of the tour (a very average soccer player can make a living playing league one in the UK with little personal expense) and so few players making worthwhile money. You are missing out on College, building a career etc...unless you truly you can make it to Karue Sell's level at a minimum its not worth, wasting years of your life. I will continue to follow and I wish you the best!

He needs to focus on doubles. The place for unsuccessful single player. Is normal in tennis. For example, a chilean player named Matias Soto finished college in 2022 and in 2023 started in ATP Tour and in only two years, is top 250 in singles and top 120 in doubles. It is what it is, there are some player that are build different ... meanwhile Felix couldn't even reach a QF in a M15 in this 2 years.. and there is no shame for that, as I said.. it is what it is
