We’ve been sucking up our leaves like this for 3 years now and have never looked back. So much more efficient than blowing to the street.

Very impressed with the little to no blow out on that deck setup, which is key on leaf cleanups. Very nice, Sir.

I just installed a Trac vac dump from seat bagger onto my Ferris is600 since Ferris doesn't make one for my machine. I tested it today and it works great. Go out on my first job with it tomorrow. The dump from seat is a game changer.

That thing is a beast for sure. I had the same blowout issue on my old Exmark. Have since went back to Walker Mower. One thing that really fixed it without changing the performance was to use mulching blades. Not sure whats on yours but might be something to look at if you still have an issue.

Currently it’s just the factor high lift blades but I will try some gator blades and see how it does

I’m curious as to what blades were on the Ferris deck. I’ve been running Exmark Lazer Z’s and we switch out to the factory Exmark mulch blades for fall leaf pickup. The factory Exmark high lifts blow way too many leaves out from the front of the deck.

As someone who spent 6hrs at one property yesterday doing the same thing, I see 2 major benefits over a typical "bagger" like I have. #1 obviously you can dump from the seat, your not constantly jumping up and down. Which isn't getting any easier. But #2 you can leave your deck on while you dump. That's huge. I must have turned my deck on and off 50 times doing the leaves on that lawn yesterday. It typically takes around 2 hrs to just mow, deck on/off once. The headaches added to the cost of replacing electric clutches prematurely, this system is definitely something to look into..

Looks good bro.! We just got one for our John Deere Z-turn (with the from seat dump handle). Just tested it out yesterday on our moist, snow pushed down leaves. Now we need enough non-saturated lawns to use it and pay for it (over half the lawns here in our suburb you can't drive a mower into the backyards during Spring & Fall). ;-) Keep up the good work!

Now you got the best of both worlds👍 Blow the yards that have a place to blow to, and vac the sections that don’t. Vac system is dirty when dry though, as it looks like here. I run a Grasshopper 721 D with the 25 cubic ft hopper, and love it👌
