9:49 is heartbreaking to watch. Seeing a closeted married man wanting to do right by his wife, saving his marriage is such a sad thing. The real life Fran Drescher situation was much messier, because Fran's then husband had become controlling and erratic and the marriage broke up because Fran couldnt tolerate it anymore. Later when Fran had cancer they both reconciled.

18 years. This series is from 2013/14 I think. They married in 1995. In 1995 It basecelly wasn't excepted anywhere. Almost no celeberytis had come out and you Had to fear you would be killed (still to this day). I believe 1993 was when Homosexuaity was firstly declared to not be a mental illness in america. So... Yeah, be mad, but He had his reasons and some people don't realize it bc of what people expect from them.

I like Fran, her friend, her husband and her mom. Her dad is very ok also. Eliotte and other characters are very good, except of her "mom" and granny from Nanny. This mom was always too much for my taste, granny was ok, but she's way too old here to be funny. It's rare when I like almost all actors. For example in How I met your mother they all are irritating to me, so I couldn't watch this show.
