Time In a Bottle - Jim Croce Cover

I believe anyone who's seen 'X-Men : Days of Future Past' will know this song (Quicksilver scene). It introduced me to the wonderful Jim Croce, and I've never forgiven myself for not being familiar with this wonderful singer-songwriter earlier. Anyway here's my take on his dreamy track 'Time in a Bottle'.

This has to be one of the best covers of any song I ever seen. Vocals are perfect. Guitar was perfect. No changing of the melody. You kept your vocals and didn't try to sound like Jim Croce. I'm amazed.

Had this cassette as a kid and played it till it stretched and eventually snapped. Spent hours splicing the tape with sellotape and the surgical precision required to make sure the tape ran over the heads without snagging and played it some more.
