Wow, this visual tutorial is a piece of art in itself. Beautiful presentation. Gotta be honest, it makes everything seem a lot simpler to accomplish than it is, but other than that, it perfectly portays the generation process of the model, and it gives you insights into various techniques on how to model. If not with the model itself, at last the background and it's construction makes you know, that a pro is at work here. This is truely one of the best and most appealing tutorials for 3D animation. Folds really just fall into categories of shapes. If you know what shape to form in which situation then folds are actually simple. If you look at 2D fold tutorials and then look at 3D real life reference, you can break down your reference into shapes and then model the shapes you see.
@MadLover4690 Жыл бұрын
Also, since this video is edited, we're not sure how the person achieved those folds, they could have used a cloth deformer, curves, any number of techniques to make things easier.

This video is so good, like brooo. I've heard that drawing programs have a recording function to make these time-lapse videos, so I suppose 3D modeling programs also have that. But the camera work, the colors of each different section of the model, the parts that were modeled separately coming together, the animation of the character to react to the events. This is another level. With the lofi in the background, I have discovered a new type of entertainment.
