About 100 years ago my Dad watched the Amish build the neighbors barn. They hauled in the siding and roofing with a team & wagons. But all of the post & beam framing they cut fresh from the woods. Then squared them up with an adz. The ridge beam was an unbroken beam 80 feet long. You couldn’t find such a tree in the state of Ohio today. All original growth timber is gone.

There are some great Amish people, but the community as a whole has a lot of fucked up things going on. Incest and molestation, rape etc. are RAMPANT in the Amish. Alcoholism and drug abuse, depression, etc are also very common. A lot of crooked bishops who are viewed as gods by the community

They aren't Amish people. Amish people are much bigger and don't move super fast like that. These are pixies or other tiny outdoor dwelling creatures. You can see in the way they move. That "barn" is probably the size of a regular shoe box
