Time Lapse: Southern Yellowhead Highway from Jasper, Alberta to Kamloops, British Columbia

July 30, 2020 - We're heading back to British Columbia! Starting in the town of Jasper, Alberta, we're heading west on the Yellowhead Highway (Highway 16) through the Rocky Mountains to Beautiful British Columbia. Along the way I make some stops at Mount Robson Provincial Park - part of the Canada's Rocky Mountain Parks UNESCO World Heritage Site - Mount Terry Fox, and Rearguard Falls.
Next, we veer south onto the Southern Yellowhead Highway (Highway 5) to Kamloops, BC, where it's mostly a two-lane highway the rest of the way.

Thank you for posting this, We were in Banff jasper last year and after finishing dinner in jasper around 9 pm, we started driving towards kamloops. It was a night driving and It was my first time driving in mountain range up and down. It was a scary drive in night but we made it around 3 am. We saw beautiful night lighting of kamloops city and it is gorgeous, always wondered what we missed. now I can relate to this video, will do a day drive for next time.

Picked the right day to see my favourite site in the Canadian Rockies Mount Robson. Driven that stretch many times as I like to stay in Valemount.
