Absolutely beautiful work! But rather illogical design and features. I would absolutely dread having to back down that driveway every day!
@tidybrickslandscaping5 жыл бұрын
FOAD RIGHTNOW why back down when you can turn around at the top ? Don’t listen to threads sometimes it’s normally wrong it wouldn’t of been built otherwise 👍🏴

Very interesting, indeed, and EXCELLENT craftmanship! Congrats! How steep is it (percentage or degrees)?

Thanks for watching and I think it was about 30 degrees angle or a little bit less 👍🏴

lol I was looking at the clock thinking not a chance you did that in 3 days, impossible but then noticed it was months. Last year we did a landscape that took about 4 months. About 7 big skips of soil had to be manually dig out and wheelbarrowd out as it was impossible to get machines in. About another 2 skips of stone. Great job but hard work in that heat wave we had. The garden was a sun trap too.

Surely laying the drive top down creates slipping like you got as it comes round nicley screeded off tho and that brick work looks neat too
@tidybrickslandscaping4 жыл бұрын
Thx Andrew it was awkward starting from the top down not your normal way of doing things but it’s good to push the idea and it’s con’s and there’s always solutions to problems 👍🏴

Very nice looking. How do you prevent erosion on the steps? It looks like they are set right into the dirt w/out gravel or a fiber under them.
@tidybrickslandscaping5 жыл бұрын
There’s a hardcore base and the steps are bedded on concrete

Fantastic quality of work, but a pointless, expensive, downgrade. They lost a garage and their front garden so they could drive to the front door - how do they turn up there?

Ok I’ll take you up on that as a couple of days ago I went to revisit the driveway and offered a free pressure clean as I’m not working atm. So 3 years after I completed it it’s perfectly fine and in good working order I’m making a new video about it so stay tuned and see it again and we’ll check on how it doing 👍🏴
