Crying as I watch this back a couple years later. I wrote this letter to Tori the morning of the concert and was somehow able to get it to her through one of her tour staff members along with some flowers before the show. I’d had to get there early to do this so I left and walked around downtown until it was about 30 minutes to doors opening. When I came back and sat by the front of the venue, someone came up to me and asked “Are you Tatiana?” “Yessss” I replied very confused. Then he took out a ticket and said “Tori sent this for you”. It was a front row ticket to the show. I couldn’t believe it! I was already immensely grateful for this. But then when Tori addressed my letter on stage I swear I cried for like 2 songs hahaha. I had gone to the show alone as a little birthday treat to myself but I felt so supported because the people in my row gave me a hug and napkins to wipe away my tears 🥹💖 Anyways, I’m not sure why I felt like revisiting this clip again 2 years later. I guess life changes so much, and I still feel like that lost 19 year old girl I was back then, just with some more scars and a couple more stories to tell. But I really do hope to one day make Tori proud that she took the time to answer my letter, and find a way to make music again

Tori is a beautiful person that way. What a wonderful story and I'm so glad she reached out and made the night extra special for you. She finds a way when we need it most. I've had a couple moments like this over the decades where she's been truly generous and I'll never forget them. I found her as a lost 17 YO... and it's true - we get older, we have the scars and stories, but we make it. We do.

Her voice without the band really fills the room. I was there and it was such a touching moment on the show. She did seem like she had a cold.

Wow, the last minute in particular is extremely powerful. Amazing how she holds it together when the emotion is pouring out of her like this. Thanks for recording and sharing, especially the story that put everything into context. I hope that 20 yr old girl is inspired to keep being her honest and authentic self ♥️
