When coloring tiny pieces, I hold each piece in place using the sticky side of a strip of low-tack tape. Hold that strip in place on your craft surface, sticky side up, with another piece of tape at each end. Remove the colored piece when done coloring.

I love both cards. The trees are so neat. And the gnome with the pretty blue background is adorable. Using the stencil and water is brilliant. I do not mind you using your die cut machine at all. It makes it real. We all have one of one style or another.

Simon- I love your tricks and these gorgeous creations you came up with. Some of us have so many things in our stash that we don’t use. It is fun to bring them out once in awhile. Pics instead of various colors of card stock…BRILLIANT! If you leave them inside the negative space from the diecut card stock, it is easier to hold them in place for coloring. Thank you 👍👍👍👍👍 Loved the handsome gnome AND the tree card both. I could t pick a favorite.

How do you come up with the coolest and most adorable cards?? Both turned out great! I love how you always have such great ideas how to use products in different ways! I'm sure somebody mentioned this already. Use the negative space of the die cuts. First by lining the back of the cardstock, sticky side down with low tact tape. That way when you lay the pieces into the negative spaces, the pieces stay put and are easier to color. I saw another card maker do this recently, but I can't remember who. Thank you

I was thinking the same thing. Plus the cost of this kit is sort of steep. $50 is a bit much for gnomes, especially since I will not likely even make a dozen gnome projects. I started flipping through photos of my dies (I keep photos of each magnetic sheet that stores my dies). I discovered I can put together a gnome from other dies. Dies meant to cut hair, leaves, and various flower parts can be repurposed into gnome craft. It’s like money saved. Plus I get more use from dies I already have which improves their cost/use ratios.

Still not sure I’ll ever make a grams card tho 😆 I may use the techniques and spotlight a completely different type of image. But I love that he die cuts in all white and then colors them with the ink pads…nothing fancy, but clever. 😃👍🏼
