Yes, I heard about this issue, so you actually made a mistake by updating the bios, I don't know why msi does this to customers.

Doesn't get that hot, I can still hold the power brick as you can see in the video.

How did you boost GPU power above 150W? For some reason mine hits the 150W limit and won't go up even by activating the voltage meter on afterburner.

I got bad news, updating the bios was a mistake, I got the first version of the bios. I'll make a video about this.

@@derekcranson2307 I don't understand their intention to lower the power limit for 4090 on GE78HX, the temperature barely even reach 65 degree Celsius on my end... I guess the best I can do is wait for a better Bios available now that lift the gpu power limit back to 175W. It's also worth a mention that some bricked their laptop with current Bios (E17S1IMS.105) from what I know (happened with GT77HX, too).

@@AionStylish I have the .107 bios version but still gpu is hanging around 145-150W. I didn't get that from MSI, they are marketing it as 175w tgp even mentioned the same in nvidia control panel. Total cpu and gpu combined power touching 225W only not 250W marketed by MSI.
