This is truly amazing how you get this most difficult task in animal hygiene accomplished. It's obvious JK and Shaki are not in any pain getting their nails trimmed and even thought they do not like this health care act I have observed in this video that they listen to you and try to follow your commands even though they do not want to. In the end they still show you their love for you and want you to reassure them that you still love them. Bravo Jamil, thank you for another great educational video!

Poor guy - JK rarely shows that he's scared. The only times I have ever seen him fear grimace (it looks like he is smiling), is when he has his nails cut. Jamil, would a nail file be easier? My dog hates having his nails cut, so the vet recommended I use a nail file instead of a clipper. It takes a lot longer, but he isn't nearly as anxious.

JK is so smart and doesn't miss a thing. No animal likes nail trims. It's too bad someone couldn't distract them or maybe that wouldn't work. You would almost have to tie down their paws for safety reasons. Now JK, you are a big strong male and you were squealing, like someone hurt you, but you relaxed & were a good boy! Jamil, it's really a tough job to cut Jk Shaki's nails. But they are already with good behavior and well discipline, even they are unwilling to be cut, at least they don't run away and just hide to avoid from your action to them. JK SHAKI, good boy and girl.

He is such a sweet guy! I don't think any animal likes their nails cut. My parents had the most laid back Rhodesian Ridgeback, but I time I went with them to the Vets office for shots & she got her nails trimmed. The vet tech had came out and said she couldn't handle the dog. She said it was a scary situation and she would not let her cut her nails. Dad went back to hold her down for the nail trim & I slipped around t he corner to buy this young lady a Frappe!
