IGOW2 Was amazing for me! Took my freestyle to a whole new level. Sharpened up my fundamentals as well. Dan and Liz are amazing and organize the madness that is IGOW! Highly recommend it! I'll be one of the judges this season as well as a sponsor w/ Infinity Loops! Can't wait, such a fun time.

I learned a lot in IGOW2, and I had only been flying acro for a couple of months at the time. One thing i am seeing a lot is "I dont have a compatible whoop" or "I need something more powerful"... I managed to do most of the 16 weeks i lasted for using my brushed 716 silverware whoops, which cost me about $30 to build. So really, even "I dont have a whoop" isnt a good enough excuse... buy one and get in on it!

Just register anyway! You can use an old dvr clip for entry week and still have a chance to win one of almost 100 prizes. You only get one letter a week so if you miss the first few weeks you will get a few letters (or maybe you can borrow a friends whoop?) and then when you get your new FC you can jump back in. No big deal if you never submit a video besides entry week. It’s still worth it IMO just for week #0

@@FPVSkittles cool! Its a mix of parts, but its using nbd expresso motors, 2s hv gnb yellow bananas, a 75mm mobilite frame, nbd azi props that fit snug with the ducts, might add a split cam to record hd! Its going to be fun! Thanks for organizing it

I have two in my hands. One is the AE65 the other is the whoop with the expresslrs on board, kind a custom. I would suggest getting a 75mm whoop as they are slightly easier to fly than 65mm and have more flight time for practicing.

Hello - You can register without a whoop and you can use an old DVR clip for your entry week #0 video. Hopefully your replacement parts show up before july 9th when the Week #1 challenge will be due. But if not you only would get one letter and you are not out of the game until you get 5 letters.

It does start off with primary tricks. Go around something or roll through something. We get to pick the something that fits the requirements. It does build over time. Last season took nearly a full year to have an eventual winner.

I think a dji whoop is going to make igow very difficult beyond the first few weeks. The one I like and is still small for the inside igow weeks is the iflight alpha 75HD.

Too bad my whoop came a few days too late to sign up, and haven't had enough acro practice yet. (Second acro flight is when my tinyhawk freestyle ii went in the pond) nanohawk should be in tomorrow, but for the past 2 weeks, have only been able to work on my sim flying. Gotten consistent in curry kittens sim with my taranis, at flying through all of the alleyways on 800-1000deg/s rates, but haven't had enough real life practice to participate this season.
