Wow. Bravo had no idea you guys went through that much trouble to find us and that your advance was so plodding. We heard sporadic combat in the distance, but we never saw any armor and wondered among ourselves why we even had Dragons. How much you went through makes your rescue even cooler. It's fitting that you were the first one I saw crest that little rise at 29:40. It's too bad you died while we were loading, though. You deserved a spot in Beagle's parade.

Yes I am aware of how the system works in ArmA it was more that compared to other units, there seemed to be a lot more people dying before they received medical treatment. Was wondering if ShackTac were using more deadly settings or if was just one of those things.... Since posting the comment i have seen other ShackTac videos where the treatment was just as fast as other units and more people survived, though my general observation is that there are more casualties in ShackTac ops than others

You should really look into it, it definitely has everything you guys seem to value except infantry combat - Outside of commanding the AI infantry. Especially considering all the high-fidelity simulation aspects it'd provide a great challenge. Even has a mission editor that is identical to ArmA 2 with a lot of improved elements and advanced trigger / waypoints. Would love to see you guys take that game on =)

Yeah I figured because from experience of driving APC's in ARMA 2 with very low view angle as of view. Haha I hope to upgrade my PC to play more of this hopefully with shack tac soon!

Yeah the biggest problem for me is the time they start at 12PM my time and I don't know how long one session could go on. I wanted to apply before a lot of people wanted to join(hipster much?) but because of the time issue I didn't do it. :(

Dslyexci, the way your weapon's are lowered is very realistic unlike other games where it always stay up and for making videos or small films just look sloppy. Is it a default in the Arma game or do you guys use a mod for it? I would like to know.

You could try to make it more clear what's going on and what part of the mission you are doing to give a better overview. It was a bit hard to understand what happened when you was entering the big field with friendlies at 28:00, especially in Kilroy's video. Small textboxes saying "the friendlies they are talking about is the missing team" or "we are giving cover fire as the other squads are getting ready to leave" really helps giving a clean overview of the situation.

This may be incorrect but it seems that there is less treatment of friendly casualties by medics than in other Realism units I've seen and that people seem to die more often, is that because wounding/death setting are set to more extreme results?

I must not be alone in saying that whenever they have contact with enemy infantry it's hard to see them if at all. I can't see them more than half of the time in these videos.

when i try using the Dragoon missle in arma 2 with ace, it is like, glitchy. for one, the Daysights dont work(or they do, but only when you deployed the dragoon) its like, whenever i use the daysights it goes into ironsight mode, it does not actualy zoom in. also, whenever i place a dragoon down with tripod, i still have one in my inventory after, so i can duplicate them. does anyone know how to fix this?

They prefer challenging operations as well as realistic ones. Usually fire-teams don't have more than a few scoped weapons in real life, too costly.

I don't know how long your games usually take, but in general I can't participate in any event that's past 9-10pm for me, so I have no chance joining any of ShackTac's :( And again about A3, I kind of mistrust the game, as you know many of the newer game releases are just a huge fuck up, and all games become more and more arcade shooters.
