i hated the boyfriend level. It seemed like there isn't enough space for her. No place for her to draw, for her gamecube and her dnd stuff. AND no place for her diploma, but for his posters. I love how this game tells the story.

This was so amusing watching a guy unpack and set up a woman's room. No shade intended at all. "does she get a lot of migraines or something?"Also as soon as I saw the boyfriends apartment I knew it wasnt gonna work out. The juxtaposition between their stuff and the amount of space was excellent story telling. Love watching you place this.

He didn't make space for her socks and underwear, let alone the accomplishments. There is literally an achievement for rearranging his underwear to make room for the main character's 😡I was so frustrated when I first played the game that I went on a major rant to my sister about how disrespected I felt. I was very invested in this game lol

This game has such masterful environmental storytelling, like with the boyfriend, you start excited about the fancy new place, then you slowly realize he's made no space for her to the point where she can't even put her diploma on a wall. Huh, I kinda assumed the equation had to be correct for that achievement, but I guess not =) Btw, that blue package in the office was printer paper. And that music stand? You were sort of close, it's a stand for the ukulele. One thing I enjoyed doing: she has different comments based on what room you end in, so you can pop back in real quick by clicking on the photo itself to check them all out. And yes, there are two left, but the last one is quite a bit longer (also my favorite).

Every time I get to the boyfriend level, before I unpack a single box, I do nothing but move his stuff! 🤣 All his work shirts get wrinkled because I fold them and I get all the hangers and top drawers. I move everything of his that I can because of him making no space for her. Love the videos!

Same, lol! First time I played I noticed myself shrinking in his apartment and didn’t move hardly any of his things because I felt like it would be an imposition. Now when I play I force myself right on in, he gets the bottom drawer and that’s it!! Serves him right for the diploma bs lol

The boyfriend level instantly made me upset because it seems like it's his stuff and having her stuff there was an inconvenience to him to the point where her diploma and accomplishments had to be hidden away. Before that level it seemed like she was thriving, she was making cosplay (or what looked like it), drawing, playing TTRPG with friends, had a cute mug collection, etc. Also on the move home level the thing you were talking about with her being sick is a hot water bottle. Combined with the back pain stuff (which we did not see at the bf's place) I wonder if she had a miscarriage or abortion. Back pain and cramps are semi-common with both, and it would explain the what I assume are painkillers as well. That or she had some kind of accident; I noticed in the final apartment there's a cane in the thing by the door, maybe indicating she's having trouble walking without it. I love that afterwards it's clear she is finally valuing herself, though. Sure it's not the 'modernistic' apartment of the boyfriend but it seems spacious, she has a nice place to work, the beanbag chairs in the living room instead of a couch, she has all her plushies (in the bf apartment she only had the pig), she finally painted her little bard, and she's thriving again. I also noticed the business cards made a return, where they were missing in the bf's space. Also she's not minimalist in the last one. She has more clothes than in the bf place, and more in her own style as well. The mug collection is returning, and while she's lost things like the crayons it's because many of her art pursuits are likely moving digital. I can't wait to see what the last few levels hold!

iirc the creators confirmed she suffers from chronic pain, so no accident/miscarriage but she does use a cane + lots of painkillers

Her roommate was the one doing cosplay ! A lot of the stuff is color coded,(the main characters color is purple) the cosplay was orange and orange is the color of the friend wearing a hijab in the pictures :)

The teal and orange plastic "toolbox" in the single apartment, reminds me of a Caboodle. Plastic container to keep makeup, art supplies, whatever in. I stored stickers in mine for a while. Very 90s. 🌟❤🌟

This is such a comfort. These videos, hearing you discover it, loving the game. The detail you said, “the scale! To track our weight gain or weight loss journey.” It’s a tiny detail, but that touched my heart. I’ve had some health issues that have made me underweight a lot. Putting weight on has been exactly that- a journey. I feel sick often, and I have low stamina. Now that I’m gaining a little, I’m getting better!! :D Less weight does not always equal more healthy and happy, and more people need to know that and just get to the weight that makes them feel healthy and safe ❤️ thank you, you really made me smile

The boyfriend level really makes me tear up. My ex was kinda like that. Granted, he did try. But I always felt merely tolerated. I showed my art, and got a blank, pained smile of uninterest. My love for cosplay was discouraged, and he treated me like a possession. I have the joy and honor of being reconciled with him, and he’s apologized. We’re friends again. But it taught me a lot. Don’t get with someone who doesn’t get you. It’s nice to find someone with shared interests. But even if there’s not many shared hobbies, they can be totally opposite to you, but they should appreciate the beauty you bring to life. If they don’t, then don’t stick around. You are worthy of love.
