Ive been running bloodsucker for survivability and the pesti as backup. Mostly heroic pve. The ticks are pretty big, and it adds a layer of strategy for passing them on. Pretty fun

Yes. I was so happy to not see Optimist on your weapon. So many people run that and do not use it properly. I have been switching to killer on all my weapons and i can definite say i hit a heck of a lot harder. Also i feel unstoppable force has really made a comeback this season. I have been using it on a bunch of builds and i had forgotten how good it actually is. This is such a simple yet effective build!

My go to build for damage is Perfect Glass Cannon and Vigilance. That hasn't changed since War Lords of New York.

Yeah same. I'm sure I take the same damage with PGC than without it anyway so I would rather get a kill faster and not worry about incoming damage.

Depends on the circumstance. Mission drives the build haha Solo pve “general play” it’s 4 red 2 blue, strikers, Ceska oblit chest, groupo bloodsucker backpack. Backfire striker haz pro, yes, backpack and Ceska oblit + Ceska knees or gloves or holster. Incursion? red striker with coyote, yes backpack

On my 4 blue Strikers I like The Devil's Due bag and Catharsis but that's more of a Legendary idea. And I agree about Coyote for group play, no need to change IMO. Oh and try Memento + Everyday Carrier for your solo Striker. Two blue is enough, I think you'll enjoy it!

Maybe in group play! Ranger will be at 14% amp damage at 21 meters, so if you're at or beyond that at all times, it's better than Flatline at the very least. For solo, Killer is better, so long as you've got decent uptime.

For solo Strikers I go with Memento and the Everyday Carrier. And I honestly don't think anything is ever going to beat that no matter what this or that spreadsheet says. And for group play, Coyote is always gonna be nice so IMO I don't think we really have to mod our builds even in light of the update changes.

Nothing has changed with the chest piece, it’s just not best in slot in most cases, especially on a red build. Countdown, raids & 4-man Legendaries are where it has use. You’re better off with the much quicker to proc damage from either Obliterate or Spotter in other content.

Meh. I'll stick with momento. I've never run a random grp and not been in the top slot by a huge margin. I dont raid or do the incursion. I ran with a random grp the other day for daily mission/project with my hybrid striker (5reds,1blue, 5yellow) and i completely dominated. 2 bil dmg done, 162 kills. The guy closest to me in dmg only did 624mil 34 kills.

I don't see any point in using the Aggressor without the backpack since it increases damage scalability. I think using the Memento is valid, but without the Aggressor's vest. The aggressor's set without the backpack and wearing the vest, even using the Memento is completely meaningless, because even with the weapon damage from the Memento the vest is difficult to increase stacks in PVE. I only use the aggressor complete with vest and backpack in content such as the Countdown and Incursion where the enemies are more resistant.

I can't believe no one has said this.. I guess no one really checks anything or everyone just loves the hype of "new" things.. but - Strikers w/ backpack does *The Exact Same Damage.* Literally. Actually a little bit more.. With the same CHC & CHD, I hit 1.5M crits to the head with both builds, and 1.2M to Armor. I have all the same stats, same expertise, same everything. DJ would get the same results as well, he has in previous videos. To be clear, when you hit 1.5M to the head in the range - that is after you have stripped the armor of the Invulnerable Elite, so DTH applies (from the AR attribute). This is the same for both builds, it just didn't seem like you realized. If you don't believe me, go back and watch it - you can see that the dummy doesn't regain his armor when blasted to the head, so it's continuous DTH. I'm not hating on the build or anything, not by any means. I run the same build in certain circumstances (hence the ability to test it right away), and I've tested it before, and just as it did then; it hits the exact same as Striker w/ Backpack. You can see this if you watch the gameplay at the end. He Crits a little bit over 1M at full stacks, same a BP Striker. You see it go up to ~1.2MM at the end of the first section when targeting the chungas - which lines up, since it is also DTH. In my opinion, the Stikers backpack is better, since you can get stacks on any enemy - including a single one - and they aren't lost as fast. Even if they are, they are more easily regained, and don't require multiple enemies / kills. One mag with a Lefty, or two mags of a Dark Winter, for example, gives you max Striker Stacks *and* max Obliterate stacks, and you didn't need 4/5 more kills to get there. Just my opinion though. I actually think Vigilance is better than both of those, depending on the circumstance.. by YMMV. Edit: I am not at all trying to shit on this video or @DJtickle - I am a long time subscriber and I enjoy your vids. I just believe in not taking everything 100% as fact from the internet (or anyone) right away, just because.. and having fair comparisons with all of the data available, and a bit more "rigorous" testing, as well as a nuanced understanding of the builds and results. I am only providing a different perspective. I also may have missed something.. but I doubt it lol

@ Yeah.. that was my exact thought when I first saw this, honestly. And you're right, Striker even has its own specific amp calculation. But there is literally nothing but praise, not even the odd contrarian (I guess that's me.. lol), so I thought maybe I was missing something. Nope. Just KZbin I guess. @@Allison_Chanes Are you saying the Striker backpack is taking the Striker amp bonus from 65% to 100%, like it used to? This would make the product of Striker x obliterate 2.4 (2*1.2). Tickle's build here is a 2.3925 mutliplier (1.2*1.25*1.65). So that would make the two builds pretty much equal in terms of damage.

I rarely use it but from time to time is kinda nice to have a stronger shield, more armor and still have a decent ttk.

I run backpack and chest striker then coyotes and fox's prayer...I am doing 2.2 million with Lexington and 850k with rockn roll.. yes we need to build stacks but most of my guns vector sBR and lex have measured....my strego and chameleon have rate of fire 🔥 I know dtoc is meta but I like fast burst bullets

Do a google search regarding the “Measured” talent. There’s a full math breakdown showing how completely trash it is. I believe in one test it actually decreased DPS compared to a non-damage weapon talent.
