That truck reminds of of a truck from the 70’s-80’s I almost expect to see a 3408 cat under the hood with that unique sound they had.

Great Build im love it its a true Biuty , how Whit is the Peterbilt regular Fender to Fender and how Whit is it now ? It's a shame that here in Germany I don't really have the opportunity to measure or get important dimensions from a Peterbilt 351 359 379 or this one here in the video. The model kits that I have in the 1.25 scale are not equal to each other in width on the bumper and fender. Also at the rear I'm not sure how wide they are.Are there any measurements anywhere that I can't find any exact measurements on the internet? im a big Peterbilt fan and im Build right now on a Peterbilt 351 Needlenose in the scale from Barbie Dolls (1:7 --1:6)Scale . Nice Greetings

you dont put rubber or plastic coating on chain hanger ? you know like that dip stuff you used to be able to buy for pliers etc...I mean you could use like rubber fuel line etc... but what do they call that polyethylene ??? Personally, they a bit low too, gonna scratch the hell outta the mud flap, make a bracket so they lie on that front angle piece of the fender ?? and then hang on to the fender strut... no chain swing when given'er... or low clearance in the mud...

I don’t like the chain hangers in front of the walking deck. Sooner or later you’ll jump down because there aren’t steps and who knows where those hooks will end up. They should be under the deck. Still a beauty though.
@banffdigger
@banffdigger 3 жыл бұрын
I always used the chains as a handy step knees can't take jumping down anymore.
@blauer2551
@blauer2551 3 жыл бұрын
@@banffdigger I had a hook catch the cuff of a leather glove about a year ago and almost slit my wrist and left me hanging. Since then I’m weary of hooks and other “catches” that can be positioned better. Even with the chains used as dangling steps you can still fall forward on them.
