What better location that the twisting mountain roads of Sardinia to show off the capabilities of our new 2023 KTM 890 SMT!
We invited 60 journalists from around the world to test the new bike and give their thoughts and feedback on the long-range Supermoto weapon.
“It nails everything you can throw at it on the road”.
Including a closed-road hillclimb against the clock, the journalists were able to truly put the new KTM 890 SMT through its paces on real roads in real conditions. It’s no wonder they deemed the bike one of the best all-rounders on the market today.

I so wanted to like this bike but it's just not cutting it. Yes it might be good, but it's not got that special KTM something. KTM are losing their way in my opinion. Stefan Pierer said he wanted to be one of the big four, he's doing it at the cost of the true KTM lovers. KTM will be branded along side BMW shortly. It's sad times 😢
