I’m a Army Vet Mom. Each time my son was deployed to Iraq, we all, on our prayer team prayed for his safe return. God please bring him back in 1 piece. God answered my prayers. God is faithful. Just keep praying and believing your Matt will have safe travels and return safely to you and the kids. My God is faithful. Now my son is working in Afghanistan as we continue to pray for his safety.

No doubt Caren, you'll feel like the time Matt is gone drags by at first, until the day he will returns draws near and it'll end up feeling like the time flew by!! I guess it's true that it takes certain special kind of people to cope with all sorts of 'job'/career/lifestyle choices - and choosing to be married to anyone in the military certainly appears high on the list for most people who seem to find it difficult to comprehend that there's a whole human race of special people out there who sometimes don't even get a choice in living the life they must live; yet they do!! Of course, knowing that doesn't make the times your loved one is committed to deploying to wherever they get sent, any easier to cope with. I look forward to the updates you can manage to provide here on KZbin, and being the big softie that I am, I'll no doubt shed a tear when Matt's deployment ends and you reunite once again!

It’s sad when they are deployed this is why I can’t marry someone on the military. Whose that who wrote about the benefits ? Lol they work for those benefits you know , and I don’t think those benefits are even enough for the things they go through. It the same as marrying a surgeon , you nearly see the man or woman. Idk of it's just me, but the vibe she's giving off is so sad about him leaving, like I noticed when Matt talks about his leave, her answers/ responses are short & she seems uninterested 😔, she looks down with a somber expression 😔...she says she's used to it and its never easy, but I sense it's getting harder...I'm mean 6 deployments😔She's putting on a brave face in the video but she's super sad😔😩 I just wanna hug her😩💖
