Time to Smash! Making a War Mace

Here's a beauty to make Sauron proud: a war mace forged from pure steel and hate. (well, the hate only entered the text to dramatize it a little)
Unfortunately I lost the part of the video that I made in the scrap yard, but believe it or not this material was all bought as scrap.
When the client spoke to me about this piece I loved the idea, making new pieces always motivates me, even more so when they have so much appeal.
I found out from talking to him that this was the infantry's favorite weapon in medieval times, because armor parried blade blows too well, so something that crushed them would be of greater help. Of course this is just a curiosity, here as good hyperactive nerds we just like to crush inanimate objects.
Eis aqui uma belezinha para deixar Sauron orgulhoso: uma maça de guerra forjada de puro aço e ódio. (bem, o ódio só entrou no texto para dramatizar um pouco)
Infelizmente perdi a parte do vídeo que fiz no ferro velho, mas acreditem ou não esse material foi todo comprado como sucata.
Quando o cliente falou comigo sobre essa peça adorei a ideia, fazer peças novas sempre me motiva, ainda mais quando elas têm tanto apelo.
Descobri conversando com ele que essa era a arma favorita da infantaria na era medieval, porque as armaduras aparavam bem demais os golpes de lâminas, então algo que as esmagasse seria de maior ajuda. Claro que isso é só uma curiosidade, aqui como bons nerds hiperativos gostamos apenas de esmagar objetos inanimados.
