And do not let Jake at his mane because he butchered his 2 horses manes . Horses are such beauties and their manes make up that beauty, and besides helping with the flies around their eyes it helps protect them from sunburn around the eyes. Horses in the wild do just fine with long manes

I almost had an anxiety attack when you held up those SCISSORS!!! I thought oh dear NO not another MO from the 3 Stooges. LOL. You are right , God put their forelocks there to sush flies away and for beauty and he is beautiful!!! During fly season all you will have to do is wipe their faces with a cool damp cloth to keep their eyes from getting sticky. Looks like Big Boy might have been sticking his neck through a fence wearing his mane off OR someone cut it. BB has beautiful eyes and he moves really well. I really like him ! He just needs some more quality ground work and connection before being ridden. Barbies dappleds will be even more beautiful this summer. Bri you are doing an excellent job caring for them. I love watching you with your horses and other animals ❤

I never ever considered cutting any of my horses manes or tails. God gave them that hair to protect them from biting insects. I'm pleased that Bri feels the same way. The bangs protect the eyes from sun, dust grass seeds as well.

Tigger's forelock is perfect. Many do not realize it is natures flyswatter to keep the flies out of his eyes and also protect his eyes from the sun.

I loved this video. I’m so in love with horses. It’s a wonder you didn’t hear me yell Noooooooo all the way from Florida when you picked up the scissors to cut Tigger’s hair. He is so gorgeous. so happy you didnt trim bans i tried telling jake they help with flies and when i raised horses we never cut bangs or mane we pulled manes to make it look better but never cut them

I think Big Boy cleaning up his room. Stacking the dishes so they get cleaned or ready for more food. I wonder if he had low trees at his previous home. If he hung out under and his mane would get tangled and he pulled his way out. Maybe ask your farrier if he has any suggestions.
