If you knew how stupid Hue Jackson is, you wouldn't be surprised. We did not have the benefit of seeing all the practices. Hue didn't trust his eyes. Why a head coach wouldn't give a backup QB ANY time with the 1's is beyond me. It didn't matter, Baker will be a starting QB for years, and Hue might never see another NFL (not for long) locker room in his lifetime.

This man is a leader. He led the cheers and send off when the high school's marching band made it to state. Excerpted from an ESPN article: "Mayfield's ability to connect with people, to make them feel a part of something bigger than themselves, has always been one of his natural gifts, dating to his time at Lake Travis High School in Austin, Texas. His high school football coach, Hank Carter, often thinks back to a moment during Mayfield's senior season, when the Lake Travis High marching band qualified for the state semifinals. "There is a tradition in Lake Travis, when an athletic team makes a state level of competition, the community will do a send-off," Carter says. "The send-off for the band was on a Saturday morning, the day after we'd played a game. As you can imagine, high school boys are not particularly excited about showing up early in the morning to hold signs and cheer on the band. But not only was Baker down in front, he was leading the chants, the same type of chants you'll see him still doing in huddles today. He made it feel really special for those kids. Most high school kids would think they were too cool for something like that, but Baker saw it as an opportunity to celebrate someone who had supported him."

I played WR D2 power in the 70's. Had 3 QB's with pro arms, one got drafted and played 8 years. Many variables, but to this day the scouts always come see you in games. When you are on the field with a pro, just feel it. The touch, the anticipation, just special.

He had a future first overall pick and a QB that finally saved Cleveland and didn't play him and was fine with him leaving. He followed that up by having another first round NFL QB that eventually goes on to win NFL MVP and he couldn't win with that guy either. Oh and who was coaching before all that? Johnny..... A guy that now admits he never learned the playbook or listened to coaches and just winged it. I don't know how kliff got a reputation as a good coach for QBs.

With the way the Browns resorted back to their old ways in their first game of the 2019 NFL season, getting thrashed by the Tennessee Titans, 43-13, with Mayfield throwing for 285 yards, 1 touchdown and 3 interceptions in the game it isn't looking likely that that will happen.

12-8-20 browns are 9-3 under Baker and second in the conference to the 11-1 Steelers. While there is other key players, Chubb, Hunt, Landry, Beckham and a good defense, there is 0 doubt this guy has put the browns on a different direction. sadly law enforcement are told to use excessive force as a scare tactic. You would think they are supposed to protect citizens but they protect themselves and their interests first and foremost. they should be out to protect people even if it means putting themselves in danger because that's their job. This was a very good video. BUT FALLS SHORT OF BEING GREAT. The main point of the video and the story of Baker was great. However must have been some young guys, who never did there homework on the history of the Cleveland Browns. Cleveland football has been really bad since they came back in 1999, however before the team left in 1995. THE BROWNS WERE IN THE ARC TITLE GAME. The Drive, to Elway they lost. However just one more win, BROWNS ARE in the big bowl. Then they had the fumble, However it was the BROWNS AND THE GREAT JIM BROWN WINNING CHAMPIONSHIPS BEFORE THE SUPER BOWL. . ALSO DOWN THE ROAD IN CANTON, where football was born. You all wouldn't have this great game if not for the history. Yes Baker is here to lead a turn around of decades.
