allow me to share this here, changbin wrote streetlight about how he's unable to talk to others when he's not doing well bc he's usually the one people go to and so if he tells them he also struggles, he feels like they will see his weak side and he won't be helping them but instead making them lose strength on him. However, it is significant how he decided to have chan feature on the song even tho he was perfectly capable of singing that verse chan sang twice already, when chan starts singing the colours start to show and so I believe having chan feature in the song is a symbol that changbin DID talk to someone (chan) and he helped. I love streetlight so much, I don't think I've ever related to a song as much as this one. I'm glad u guys listened to it.

Hyunjin started to write and compose this song when he was on hiatus for 4 months without any way to communicate with us and he was missing us so much, he used to go to the mountains and look at Seoul lights, imagining it's stays 😭 Hyunjin also created the hashtag #lovestay and he was using it in his every Instagram post and this hashtag became so much meaningful for him and all of us that he was named Lovestay Boy and later they made a whole #Levestay fanmeeting 🥹

The minute the piano starts in #LoveStay, I start weeping. I love the lyrics, and little details. 'On a springlike summer day I engrave your name in my heart forcthe first time' referring to the 1st Stay Day, August 1, 2018, when the fandom name was announced. 'You hugged me when I was cold' referring to Hyunjin's profile having a snowflake on it for his whole hiatus. Hyunjin uses the #loveStay in his messages, and when he was on hiatus, Skz and Stays would talk about him as 'loveStay boy' so they could talk about him without the haters knowing. Fun facts: -the handwritten lyrics in the #LoveStay mv are written by the members (usually the one singing at each moment). -Up All Night was the 1st song Chan wrote as a trainee. -The Drive mv (directed by Novvkim, who also directed Red Lights etc.) was filmed the morning after the finale of Kingdom, so Chan still has his Wolfgang spray tan.

Sorry this is super random but I remembered suddenly for whenever y'all react to lix for his member day, if you don't already know he has a herniated disc issue that he developed during that era (and that he still struggles with and has to go to physical therapy a lot for today). So in that era (when it was at its worse) he sits out like 90% of the performance unfortunately. Just giving you a heads up in case you were thinking of doing maniac fancams for him cause you don't really see much outside of him standing on the side and jumping in a little. But ofc its up to you whether you still decide to do it or not cause they're still something interesting. Just wanted to let you know✌🏾
