The first time I saw the Toledano B1 I admired the design idea but I thought "I would never wear it, it's ugly". I opened this video almost by chance, I wasn't interested at all. Honestly, if this new MOP was available I would buy it right now. Not in a metaphorical, emphatical, or rethorical sense, in the sense that mid-video I went to the website and I was fully ready to input my credit card info in that exact moment. It is frankly astounding and in my opinion both the estetical and the conceptual aspects of the design rose to another level with this iteration. Last time I felt such folgoration was with the Bel Canto.

Ran into Andrew back in October at the Vertex event with the Toledano &Chan B1 on the wrist and it was in all its nuances that I was astonished. The bracelet gives a stunning feel like brutalist meets Cartier Cloche. And the case shape is so visually fascinating…need one of these for my wrist.

As much as this is a cool watch.. I’m really not sure about the price - granted there are costs but the jump from the b1 to this seems insane price wise.. I’m sure it’ll sell well but the flip side is this is also how you kill your self early doors by really cranking the price up. Also the dial is a bit marmite to me - a different coloured / contrasting hand might have helped with legibility.. I’m excited to go to the time and tide event in London to see this in person but I’m really unsure about actually going ahead and buying it due to the price. Wish you the best of luck however and will follow the brand for sure 👍🏽

Agree about the price, I was cool with the price of the B1, but unsure about the price of this one despite the upgrades. Also I prefer the lapis dial over the MOP...now I am unsure what to do...

I really appreciate the design very much, and I wished to own the OG with lapis dial (which I still prefer over the MOP dial), but the big question for me is the price, now in rolex, omega and cartier territory, is it good enough to sway me from buying a santos, JLC reverso, rolex OP? Just to name a few.... It is a fantastic watch on its own right but almost 60% increase for the offered upgrades seem insane to me.

The initial price was simply too conservative / low. In the end the market sets the price anyway and can’t get one for under $6500USD - like Cartier, you’re paying for design / IP / creativity - more an art piece than a timepiece in my view - A

I wonder if Toledano & Chan thought about reaching out to LVMH or Chanel to get capital to fund their designs. Both companies are supporting micro brands with funding to keep their creative ideas flowing, without seizing control.

Ok I already see what version 3 is going to look like. It’s going to be evolution of version 2 but with date window at 3 o’clock position with mini asymmetrical cyclop in the shape of the crystal on top of this asymmetrical crystal from version 2. Let that sink in…😂

The new design is fire. The only thing I would change (and I hope they see this and try it out) is making the hands blue coloured or some other colour. The hands seem to bland in at different angles. I know this is mainly a bracelet first than watch, it's not for telling time accurately but at least they should try to make the hands more legible somehow. I would love blue hands but anything to make them stand out more would be strongly needed.
