Gorgeous!!! Curious, may I ask how you keep your overlay colors from getting too muddy or overtaking the piece/subject?

Thank you!! Overlay colors you mean the shading and lighting? If that's the case, what I try to keep in mind is the coloring of the environment (to chose the shading and lighting colors) and the values (that's why I put the drawing in black and white sometimes). Using layer modes can help when drawing (for example for laying down shading color with a multiply mode), but also having some knowledge of how colors work can also help you achieve better results (you can learn by doing color studies). I'm still in the process of learning that so I don't think I can be much of a help but there are great videos on youtube! You can check out Lighting Mentor on yt, his videos are very helpful!

@@Arankay Oh my apologies, I mean when you did the color overlay near the end when everything is done. It looks like you put blue, red, gold, maybe other colors? I'm not sure, I couldn't tell fully.
