Grid infill can be problematic on the X1C you should try gyroid or cubic!

@@ProfessorMuchacho While grid infill is technically the strongest and marginally fastest, on each layer the nozzle has to pass through a line of filament laid in the other direction. Fine on slower printers because it melts it's way through, but on faster printers you'll hear a grinding noise, accumulating material, or a narrow print knocked off the plate by the extruder. It's extra wear on the XY motors. Other infills like gryoid don't self-intersect like Grid, but the constant wiggling of the path might add little time. Cubic or Adaptive Cubic does self intersect to a degree, but the self-intersecting point isn't in the same x,y point stacking up as you go higher.
