We recorded 7 hours of video and processed it to create this 7 minute timelapse. Meteors appear as thin lines that disappear suddenly. Satellites appear as long lines that slide rapidly across the sky.

Meteors are indicated with circles and a bell sound plays at the same time. The sound is panned to left or right to match the meteor's X coordinate on the screen. The pitch of the note played corresponds to the Y coordinate. The camera lens seems to be coated in a layer of dust, but that's really noise in the camera sensor. This video simulates a long-exposure so any imperfections in the lens or sensor get emphasised. Comparing the different types of meteors seen in the evening and later the next the morning.
