Great video & love these kits. Did the Green Pony Kit last year and really satisfied with the tones I'm getting compared with the "real" ones. Going for this build also next. Cheers.

What’s the putty/clay you use to hold components on the board when you flip it over?/

Blu-tack. You can get it from amazon here: amzn.to/3dJfN3J and I have other things that I use listed on my website: www.pachydermpedals.com/blog/equipment/ I have only just now started using a second strip of the Blu-tack, it lasts forever.

@@manicmusic329 thank you! Great info in very usable format there. Two more questions: do you ever use an anti-static mat? Heat sinks? I only used my anti-static mat when building a PC, but I’ve used heat sinks often when building an amp (capacitors and diodes, not resistors).

@@chipsterb4946 haven't used heat sinks. All my ICs are socketed so heat is not a problem. The only thing I think I ever burned out was an LED. Since the helping hand I use at times use metal alligator clips, they act as sinks at times. And no anti static. Just the silicon mat so I don't burn any surfaces.
