For 23:34 this is actually a very good question, and the answer depends on if you're willing to make a semi-reasonable assumption: That the entire universe is infinite. With that assumption in place, the answer is actually very simple: If the universe is an infinite system, then it can expand into itself. An infinite system that doubles in size is still an infinite system. But another possibility is more complicated, and kind of mind bending. Imagine a 1 dimensional universe. To the residents of that universe, that's everything. That universe can have any arbitrarily large amount of length. But no matter how long it is, it will never have any area. So to a 2 dimensional being, not only is their arbitrarily long universe unimpressive, but it doesn't even exist. The same goes for a 2 dimensional universe. Its residents are amazed by the seemingly infinite surface area. It also doesn't even have to be a flat shape either, see Menger Sponge. But like before, it can have all the surface area it wants, it will never have any volume. So to us 3 dimensional beings, it basically doesn't exist. Now simply go one step higher. Our universe, with finite dimensions, is amazing and grand, with an incomprehensibly large amount of volume. You can conceptually go outside our universe and look "down" on it, but then you're in another dimension. For our finite universe, there are higher dimensions into which it is expanding. To an observer existing in that higher dimension, you can watch our universe's volume approach infinity, but you will be disappointed by its continual lack of any hypervolume. But to us 3 dimensional beings with monkey brains, such a higher dimension is simply too much to imagine, even if we understand what it's supposed to be doing.

"An infinite system that doubles in size is still an infinite system." And yet all infinities aren't the same. And we can know which one is bigger, in some cases. For example, we know that the number of natural numbers is infinity and the number of irrational numbers between 0 and 1 are also infinity. But we also can tell that the latter infinity is larger than the former infinity.

That actually explains a lot. Like someone said, that if the universes are infinitely expanding, how do they not expand into each other? Now with that 2D example, it makes perfectly sense. You could imagine parallel planes that each stretch infinitely in their dimensions, yet do not touch or intersect with each other. My explanation was, that there just are multiple universes. They don't have to be in one exotic space with each other. They just exist. Multiple universes. Like the numbers 1 and 2 both just exist, nothing more. But numbers are on the number line. Fair enough. What about both love and fear? They do both exist as concepts, but that doesn't mean that they have to exist in any sharing space with each other. Ok, they have real life counterparts that all exist in our world, hormones and so on. Uhhh, hmm. It's kinda hard to find two concepts that are completely separated from reality, so that you can say that they just both exist, but the question if they are in a space, just doesn't make sense.

I think it shows us how important and special we are not insignificant. We have such a minuscule time period to exist in and such a minuscule possibility of even existing anyway. It’s incredible and we should rejoice and do everything we can to survive and strive to make everything of this gift we’ve been given while we can. It makes me appreciate and think positive on my life and our existence as a whole. We are meant to do so much more than e have been doing but it’s taking us a long time to learn the lesson and understand our gift of life and our very existence. Great stuff. Always gives me goosebumps

Big Freeze (Heat Death) - Everything reaches it's final form, no energy can convert to heat or any other energy, thus entropy cant increase and the universe keeps expanding forever Big Crunch: Gravity wins and the universe starts collapsing on itself, galactic bodies start merging, eventually, stars start colliding, 500k years before the crunch, the cosmic microwave background will be heated above temperatures of red dwarfs, the temp. will increase up until 100k years before the crunch, stars and planets are boiled from the outside until they supernova, matter begins to transform into plasma, literal minutes before the end, atoms are ripped apart and black holes start to eat everything and themselves. Then, all black holes are swallow all matter and will become one ultra massive blackhole, decaying away until it, too, explodes. Big Rip: Dark Energy wins and starts to rip everything apart. 200 million years before the end, galaxy clusters would be ripped and destroyed. 60 million before, galaxies lose their stars, 40 millions years after that, galaxies are completely wiped out. 3 months before the end, solar systems would be ripped apart, leaving planets and stars to wonder until they, too, are ripped apart. Half an hour before the end, planets, stars, and black holes will be shredded into atoms. About 1 attosecond before the end, atoms are torn apart, then eventually ripping apart everything on the plank scale

The atom crusher is what triggers the “Big Bang”?

When the universe comes to an end our consciousness might be gone. But the atoms that made all of us will be there hopefully till the very end. So in some way we will be there when it finally comes to an end.

What if the atom smasher theory is how our universe started, would explain the bing bang cuz it started from a tiny point maybe as tiny as an atom 👀

@@tgs9840 Quarks... Then "what did the first quark come from?"... Well then the answer is strings which in reality is just vibrating nothingness and is a side result of the information that makes the universe (which is why string theory isn't testable or can't predict much).... Soooo, Then "what makes strings???" The answer is tiny bits of energy/info which are all created and formed by nothing undergoing something called a fourier transform explained and visualized to understand here kzbin.info/www/bejne/qGKbeJxuobienK8 ...... Then you may ask "where does nothing come from, and how can a fourier transform turn this nothing into infinite amounts of something???" .... Well the anwer is in what nothing really is.... Nothing = the sum of all wholes.... This means positive infinite + negetive infinite = 0, therefor in a way 0 is the largest infinity/idea of all, and do to this is VERY VERY unstable which is how infinitely small energy frequencies aka nothingness can turn into something.... Sooo, "What makes nothing?"... The answer is do to this vastness it is actually created by infinite geometric dimensions.... Just think about it if we have and infinitely small sphere, how do we create infinite posibilities from that??? Well we put this circle to it's square root, aka we look at 1 cross section of the sphere effectively making 3d turn to INFINITE 2d.... Hopefully this really just shows how unstable nothing really is Soooo, NOW "Where does the concept of dimensions as apart of nothing come from???" the answer is quite simple, nothing..... By asking what makes nothing all you can answer with is nothing.... Therefor nothing in reality is it's own loop, nothing makes nothing, which causes nothing, which creates something.... Something in reality is just vibrating nothingness... Therefor the concept of something in reality is just an illusion created by the brain which can be easily killed off in a process called ego dissolution en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ego_death .... Which we can easily create nowdays comfirming this illusion.... Therefor something is in actuality just a more complex form of nothing.

The atom smasher theory isn't based on just the atom... It is based on the concept of vacuum metastability, and high energies just tipping it into a more stable state creating a new universe.... I recommend you to watch kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5upnml6rbOJr6s, for laymans terms.... Therefor the atom isn't what creates the universe... It is different quantum fields collapsing to a more stable state, kinda like wood burning to get to a more stable state, which in this case since we are dealing with changes in physics this causes a massive burst of energy which creates inflation, aaaaand the inflation pulls all the virtual particles apart creating matter and a new universe.

To answer your question, one theory which is the most popular is that the universe is everything and that it will expand infinitely however the hypothesis for where the Big bang came from is from the expansion increasing so fast parts of the universe slow down causing a reaction we do not understand which in turn creates a singularity causing another big bang. I understand this is only a theory but it may be the answer also that is what a multiverse is.
