Awesome summary. I just found your channel a month or two ago, so this answered many questions. Thanks. You guys have had a busy year...with a toddler no less. You certainly had some drastic elevation changes there.

Awesome year in review, was nice to see again all the hard work you two did. After watching you two, I'm a little ashamed of what little I've done in my years.

I am more amazed the second time. We all watched from the beginning, and these results for such a small work crew is stellar! My vote is to get a cleaning lady for Tina, that house is LARGE!

Y'all have worked hard! Would it have been better to pour the concrete slab first?
@TriStarHomestead16 күн бұрын
No. Post frame construction the slab is poured after the building is constructed so you can tie everything together.

Happy new year to you and your family. I was wondering if you looked at the versetta stone when you looked at and ultimately purchased the genstone? If anyone who reads this comment has any insight on either one of them I would appreciate it.

We did look at it and it is a great product. We opted this for because it was quite a bit cheaper.

thank you very much. I really appreciate it.

Such an achievement. For me living in UK the size of the house you two are building is huge, will your extended family move in with you or is it just Americans thinking big? 🤔
@Jayling17 күн бұрын
Maybe it looks big because of the 3 bay garage attached to the house? But as an American I think it may fit a small family quite well. Just my thoughts on it. :)

@@JaylingI admire your dedication and work ethic, pushing through all kinds of weather. Can’t wait to see how you will do the interior as the exterior finish is done to a very high standard.

It’s not that big of a house for the future. We plan to have more kids (when we can finish the house) and it is only 2500 sq ft. Large living area and an office space for editing and such. No plans for any family to move in. Average home size in America is like 2300 sq ft and average new construction home is just over 2500 sq ft so we are right at the average size.

Did you make any video on how you insulated the living area.

Yes we have a video on the spray foam. You can see it here, kzbin.info/www/bejne/bou4ZY2ins6msLcsi=k86BqCzY0mpeW4Op
